Program Full Description
This program provides students with basic knowledge of the aviation industry and with specific skills in business and technical knowledge in airport facilities and airway systems management. Graduates of this program will be qualified for management positions in air carrier operations, commuter airlines, corporate aviation, aviation-related government agencies, and fixed base operations.

Students wishing to transfer to a 4-year school for a B.S. in Aviation Management should select ECO 201 (Principles of Macroeconomics) and ECO 202 (Principles of Microeconomics) as social science electives.
Program Objectives
Earn the Federal Aviation Administration Private Pilot Certificate
Develop an understanding of the aviation industry regulations
Develop an understanding of general business concepts
Apply general business concepts to the aviation industry
Apply fundamental accounting principles and procedures
Be eligible to continue as a candidate for a Bachelor of Science degree at a four-year college or university or to transfer to a four-year college to pursue an rATP or ATP pilot credential.
